ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP):The session of 69th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) was held at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday.
The Directorate of BASR organized the meeting and the Director BASR, Prof Dr. Irshad Ahmad Arshad, moderated the session. All four Deans, prominent scholars, su
bject specialists, supervisors, and heads of departments attended the meeting.
Thirteen students presented synopses, including 6 scholars from the Department of English, 5 from the Department of Mathematics, one from Physics, and one from Distance, Non-Formal and Continuing Education. Some synopses were approved with minor changes highlighted by su
bject specialists, while others were instructed to be refined and presented again.
During the meeting, it was decided that the research outline should comprehensively cover the su
bject matter, highlighting its positive aspects. The research should also address social problems and focus on topics that will contribute to the improvement and development of the nation.
